Singer songwriter Fred Lee IV is known best for his work as Front man for the band Late Night Special, a high energy Funked Up alternative Rock band . As a seasoned musician Fred has traveled most of the US touring solo and with his band providing high energy performances and timeless self written songs to thousands of people. Hailing from North Carolina Fred’s music brings rhythm and roots with a whole lot of soul to back up the electric rock sounds that support his soaring vocals.
Fred has retained the role as the headlining artist for the nationally touring Night Lights Sky Lantern festival for the last 4 years and will be continuing for the foreseeable future . Hosting hundreds of thousands of diverse fans at each event, Late Night Special has become a staple with the festival’s brand. Fred continues to reach new heights pushing the band to consistently release new music and broaden their touring ventures across the US.
Fred is also the founder of the North Carolina Shakedown Music Festival. This event is hosted in the Charlotte region annually and involves many local, regional, and nationally touring acts. The festival was started in 2014 and has since become a staple in the local music scene.
